A major windstorm took its toll on utility services throughtout New England last Thursday evening leaving hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses without power. New England Dragway is one of those businesses affected by the outage.
"The main transmission lines on Route 27 are down and we do not know when utility crews will be able to repair them," says Track Manager Joe Lombardo. As a result of the outage New England Dragway's office will be closed until power is restored.
Updates will be provided via the track's website as they occur.
